We're very excited to see such a great interest and entry thus far for the 2016 Ridge Invitational!  We've already received 350+ entries with still two weeks to go.  Just a few reminders.

1. Congress bills are due this upcoming Friday, January 22nd.  Information can be found at https://www.speechwire.com/c-custom.php?tournid=4358&pageid=1

2. Again, we are offering POI, Informative, and Radio Broadcasting, in addition to the standard New Jersey events (including Congress and three divisions of PF and LD).   Information on the Ridge format for Radio Broadcasting can be found at https://www.speechwire.com/c-custom.php?tournid=4358&pageid=2

3. Please be sure to delineate your novices.  We will be holding Novice honor finals in speech events with a large percentage of novices.  These rounds will be for the top 4-6 novices in each event that do not advance in the open division.  They're designed to provide our novices with an elimination round experience at a time of the year when there are a significant amount of varsity competitors.  They will be judged by the Ridge team members. But, we want to ensure that all qualified students (grades 9-10, in their first year of competition) are considered.  

4.  In addition, please be sure your debate students are entered in the appropriate division.  Novice (first-year, grades 9 & 10), JV (second-year), Varsity (everyone else).
